This is going to be a 4-hour afternoon Saturday class for people who already have taken my first beginning Android class (or a similar class like it).
Arrive at 1 PM (eat lunch beforehand). The actual class will be from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
To take this class, you should already be able to run basic Android applications on your emulator. And if you're able to run/debug on an android device you already have, that's even better, just make sure to bring the usb cable that came with your device, and if your laptop has Windows on it, you'll want to already to have pre-downloaded and pre-installed the necessary driver (from Linux/Mac, you won't need a driver, but you'll need to follow these steps).
I'm purposefully limiting myself to a very few select tiny topics that I either consider the nuts and bolts of Android, or that I've seen android programmers have initial trouble with:
An electronic handout with the answers, slides, and example code sampes will be made available to you during class.
And if you prefer to use an alternative form of payment method, call me ahead of time. I have an alternate processor I can use, and I am also able to collect VISA/MasterCard payments over the phone.
