The class size was small. There was a lot of attention for my project. Stephan is not only knowledge about the topics, but also the mobile market as well. I gained tremendously. It's well worth it. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to start programming Android.

Missing code and example work for the class content put a bit of a damper on what could've been a more productive class. I can tell that with this hiccup, the planned coursework took a bit of a hit. It helped that Lawrence was there with some backup material. But being completely new to Android development, it was still beneficial to get my feet wet and to get a lay of the land.

instructor: -- started 15 minutes late and finished on time -- mumbled in a thick french accent so no one could understand him properly -- most of his exercises DIDNT WORK so he spent most of our time trying to explain to us how to type in what he had on the screen -- he did not cover 75% of what he had in his description, which was the reason I took the class (example: common Java syntax. NOTHING about that. Activity lifecycle: never explained differences between the steps properly. example programs: never went through any step-by-step) -- his slides were disorganized and he spent more time zooming in and out of crazy flash-based slides than he did actually trying to teach us what was on them -- I learned much more reading half of the "Android for Dummies" book after the class and from anddev.org In short, this class was a complete waste of my valuable time and money on a Saturday morning.

I thought the class was very insightful and helped me out a lot. I have developed applications for the iPhone in the past and this class really helped me come up to speed on what is required for developing similar applications for the Android platform. Also learned some interesting facts about eclipse SDK. Cheatsheets and Prezi were very interesting to learn about as well.

The instructor was not as prepared as I would have liked him to be. The agenda wasn't followed, and the teaching was fragmented. We ran out of time and couldn't cover all the topics too.

This class, I was completely unprepared. I've refunded everyone who's left a negative review, and I've also invited them to take my class again free-of-charge. It goes without that saying, that I'm planning to do better next class. - Stephan

The instructor is so unorganized. This is the worst class I have ever attended. The topics mentioned in the outline is totally not matched what he said in the presentation. A lot of nonsense talk in the presentation. I learnt nothing and wasted my time in this class. A refund will be much appreciated!

I was very disappointed with this class. The instructor didn't come prepared. He didn't follow the format of class which he mentioned in his slides. The class started after 1:40pm and until 2:40, the instructor kept talking about the business side of Android. When he started talking about Android, he spent aweful lot of time on R.layout file. I thought we were gonna do many small programs which would focus on different widgets, layouts etc but, unfortunately, the instructor didn't follow the program. My money is completely wasted. So far I have spent $100 in taking different "beginning" adroid programming classes and none of them have been basic enough to get the hang of things. I had a lot of hopes on this course but instructor didn't meet my expectation. I would appreciate, if I get my refund
